ProAqua FAQBelow is a list of our most frequently asked questions. If you do not find the information you need please contact us and we will be happy to field your questions.
1. Why lawn sprinklers?Underground irrigation systems simplify the homeowner's lawn care. Every Pro Aqua system is designed to effectively and covertly water your lawns and gardens. Not only do we focus on providing water to the furthest corner of the property, we also take care to provide the correct distribution method for varying types of plant material. 2. What product brands does Pro Aqua use?Pro Aqua prides itself on being a Hunter Preferred Contractor and we use their premium products exclusively for rotor, sprays and timers. For landscape lighting we use premium lines from Vista, Snoc, in-Lite and Unique. We will also work with you, the client, to accommodate any product requests you may have. 3. How will irrigation help me conserve water? An Irrigation system will conserve water in a variety of ways. One example is an electronic timer which regulates the length of time the area is watered. Another is what time of day the system actually runs. Irrigation systems are programmed to run between 2 and 4 am. This is to prevent evaporation. Thus the water runs for a shorter period of time and we achieve a greater absorption rate. Within the construction of the system itself lies another opportunity to conserve water through the use of pressure regulating heads and other such equipment. 4. Is Pro Aqua hiring, and if so, how may I apply?Pro Aqua accepts resumes year round, though the best time to apply for a position is during the winter months. Please send resumes to info@proaqua.ca. Depending on the current need, Pro Aqua hires office managers, irrigation technicians, lighting technicians, landscape specialists and general outdoor labour. 5. What is fertigation?Fertigation is the addition of fertilizers to the water running through the irrigation systems. Pro Aqua has and will install fertigation systems, however, there are a few additional pieces of equipment required. 6. Lighting Q&A: What types of low voltage lighting exist? What is fibre optic lighting? There are many brands of low voltage lighting available, all of which are interchangeable and all of which vary in price. Once a budget has been established, each homeowner has the opportunity to select the fixtures they like best. 7. How do I go about getting an estimate for my home or business? All estimates are free. All designs are customized based on your needs and the requirements of the property. Please contact the office either by phone or email and we will arrange to have a designer meet you at your home or office.
